The latest mini/portable headphone amp/DAC from Chord Electronics is here, and surprisingly inexpensive for Chord at £399.99. The Mojo has a rechargeable battery built in which lasts for approximately 8 hours, and has two 3.5mm headphone outputs. It has a USB, optical and digital co-axial (3.5mm socket) inputs. As usual from Chord it has a very nice high quality feel and looks very cool with the buttons that change colour.

So how does it sound? Excellent in a word, very clean and open with plenty of detail without sounding too sharp. It has serious drive and dynamics, and the bass is powerful and controlled. There is a noticeable lack of background hiss or noise which gives the sound a very solid feel. All in all a great product, and available to demonstate in store now.
