Here's a date for your diary!... On the 6th December Diverse Vinyls pop up record store & Pro-Ject Audio come to Audio T Swindon with vinyl records & Signature turntables in tow...

As some of you may be aware Diverse Vinyl are in the middle of a vinyl roadshow as they stop off at various branches of Audio T this autumn. 

On the 6th of December it's our turn!.. Diverse Vinyl will be bringing a vast selection of bestselling and new release vinyl including 180g Audiophile pressings for you to thumb through and purchase on the day.

Now, If Diverse Vinyl coming to Swindon wasn't a good enough reason to stop by, we will also have the company of Pro-Ject who will be showing off a couple of their rather shiny turntables including the rather impressive Signature turntable for you to listen to your new Lp purchases on if you so wish.

The last couple of months have seen a couple of cool & interesting new arrivals here at Audio T Swindon from manufactures such as Isotek, Harman Kardon & B&W.

Since our last blog we are now the proud stockist of Isotek products such as the Isotek Evo III Sigmas mains conditioning unit and the Isotek Polaris mains block. Both of these products will dramatically improve the sound that you're currently getting from you system by ensuring that you're getting the cleanest mains supply into your system.

As you may of seen else where on our website, We are now the exclusive stockists of the amazing Harman Kardon HK3770 amplifier which at the bargain price of £430 includes great features such as Bluetooth and Networking which enable the listener to play music that maybe stored on a computers hard drive or a network attached storage device ( NAS ). B&W have done it again....

The NEW Bowers & Wilkins are more than just a new fancy cabinet redesign,.. They are a completely new speaker in their own right and worthy of your attention!

As some of you may already know, B&W lauched their NEW 600 S2 series at the recent Hi-Fi show in Bristol with great success.

shortly after the show, we in Swindon received our demo stock and set to work un boxing the small mountain of boxes and started to run them all in in our back demo room. First impressions were good and instantly showed off all B&Ws hard work but that's nothing as to how they sound now once they've had a few hours under their belt.

The NEW 600 S2 series still has that sound we all know and love ( and if I'm honest expect ) from such a world class speaker manufacture such as B&W, but with a bit of B&W magic, they have managed to squeeze an extra load of refinement out of the range. 

This new speaker range that starts at £349 for the 686 S2 should be making all other speakers at the equivalent price points tremble in their cabinets!

We have held several tours over the last couple of years which have had great feedback. Customers came away with a sense of pride and understanding of how world class British HiFi is manufactured.

The itinerary for the day is as follows:

  • Arrive at 10.30am for a meet and greet with tea or coffee.
  • Factory tour starts at 11.00am which will be led by Jason Gould a longstanding Naim rep.
  • Lunch is at 1.30pm in the Naim canteen.
  • We will retire to the demonstration room at 2.30pm were Jason will demonstrate various Naim products from the range.
  • Departure is at 4.00pm were you will receive a Naim goodie bag (No they is not a free CD player or Unitilite in the bag).

Cyrus Signature Series Has Arrived!

We're big fans of the Cyrus range and as a result we've become a Signature Premium dealer which gives us 

access to all the products in the range.

However the biggest plus is the new Signature range which is the pinnacle of the design and engineering which has evolved from the acclaimed Anniversary system.

We have the DAC XP Digital Pre Amp which has six digital inputs and two analogue inputs for all you vinyl lovers out there and balanced outputs for the best connection to the Mono X 300's. There are also rca outputs if you want to use the pre amp with other Cyrus power amps.

SONOS raise the bar!!

The Sonos PLAYBAR features 9 speakers, 1 optical input to go from a TV or other device ( cable included ) and also 2x ethernet connections.

The 9 speakers make the Playbar an LCR unit with the option to add Play:3's or Play:5's as surrounds to make a 5.1 system. Which of course means adding the Sonos SUB!

Rega RP8 turntable arrives in Swindon

The Swindon branch are pleased to announce that we have recently taken delivery of the new Rega RP8 Skeletal turntable, fitted with the Apheta moving coil cartridge.

This turntable takes Rega’s design philosophy further than ever before. A radical new plinth using custom designed materials, a new tonearm bearing assembly, 24v low voltage motor controlled by a hand tuned electronic power supply and a custom version of their Planar 9 engineered hub bearing assembly.
