The new Naim Mu-so Qb is a true feat of sound engineering. Housed in a small glass filled polymer cabinet the five driven drive units have been aligned with specific angles and offsets to create perfect left / right dispersion of the sound to create an exceptional stereo image from such a small box. The drive units comprise of two micro fibre dome tweeters and two custom made mid range drivers utilising rare earth magnets and copper capped poles for greater accuracy. These drivers are all driven by their own dedicated 50W amplifiers. The bass is handled by a custom made drive unit driven by its own dedicated 100W amplifier. This is coupled with two side firing passive radiators. This bass arrangement offers exceptional bass frequencies for a cabinet of such diminutive dimensions.

Control of The Mu-so Qb

The Mu-so Qb in controlled via the dedicated Naim control App and is available for iOS and Android devices. This allows you to source specific songs, artists and albums. It will also give you access album artwork and in many cases sleeve notes, discographies, reviews, etc. The Mu-so Qb is set up using a simple set up wizard so you will be listening to your favourite songs in no time at all.

Music on the Mu-so Qb can be sourced from numerous locations:

UPNP - (Universal Plug and Play) Stream music from PC, MAC or NAS (Network Attached Storage) in CD quality.

Airplay - Stream from your idevice, i-tunes od Apple Music.

Bluetooth aptX - Pair with any Bluetooth compatible devise.

Internet Radio - Access thousands of internet radio stations. You can also save your favourite stations to presets for instant access.

USB - Play music from compatible USB devises.

Digital Optical Input - Allows you to contact external devices such as CD Players, TVs, Games consoles that have an optical digital output.

The Mu-so Qb also has Spotify Connect and Tidal streaming services built in. With the contract in place (90 Day trial on Tidal available) you will have access to millions of songs in CD or better quality.

Multi-Room Compatibility

You can combine Mu-so Qb, Muso and other Naim streaming devices in up to five rooms. You can simply sync together multiple units to give the same song beat for beat in each room.

Over all Sound Quality

On listening we have found that the Naim Mu-so Qb really does offer exceptional sound quality for an all in one system of such diminutive dimensions. The top end and midrange are exceptionally open and clear and it really does offer a sound stage that belies its size.

The bass response is truly deep and surprisingly accurate.

Having listened to many all in one systems that purport to offer true full scale sound from a small box the Mu-so QB really is the first one that really comes up with the goods (The exception being the bigger brother the Mu-so)
